FOOTBALL: The Craven “A” National Premier League will take a break this weekend.
Hopewell will play Superstar at Orchard, and Waterworks take on Sandals Negril in Lucea today in the Sandals Negril Hanover division one football competition. Tomorrow, it is Couples versus Central at Long Bay and Claremont against Hedonism II in Lucea. All matches begin at 3:00 pm.
The St James Hart Shield premier league will conclude today with the second leg final between Granville and Altobar at Ironshore at 3:00 pm.
The Sandals St James division one competition continues tomorrow with Black Diamond playing Montego Bay Boys’ Club at the UDC field in one second leg semifinal, starting at 3:00 pm.
The National Rums Trelawny super-league will take a break this weekend.
The Hopewell Sports Development Council President’s Cup competition continues tomorrow, with a double-header. Invaders will play Brisco at 2:00 pm, followed by Lane against Bamboo at 4:00 pm.
The Carimed Western Masters competition continues tomorrow with seven matches across western Jamaica. African Star host Paradise, Sting travel to Moja, and Oneness are at home to Glendevon, in Zone “A”, while in Zone “B” Violet Kickers journey to Falmouth, Infernal entertain Disciples, Montpelier visit Hornets, and Mount Salem host Hanover. All matches begin at 3:30 pm.
CRICKET: The Rothmans Cornwall County Senior Cup competition continues this weekend with St James hosting Westmoreland, and Trelawny taking on Hanover at the Ernest Wakeland in Trelawny.
