48-hour curfew imposed in Barbican, St Andrew
ST ANDREW, Jamaica— A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in Barbican, St Andrew.
The curfew went into effect at 6:00 pm on Friday, January 10, and will remain until 6:00 pm on Sunday, January 12.
The boundaries of the curfew are:
North: From the intersection of Grants Pen Road and Barbican Road to the intersection of Essex Avenue and Barbican Road, Kingston 8.
East: From the intersection of Essex Avenue and Barbican Road to Lot 13 Essex Avenue Kingston 8.
South: From the intersection of Lot 13 Essex Avenue to 15 Dulwich Drive, Kingston 8.
West: From 15 Dulwich Drive to the intersection of Grants Pen Road and Barbican Road, Kingston 8.
During the hours of the curfew, individuals within the boundaries are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
