Gas prices up $0.75, diesel up $3.06
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, January 23, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $0.75, 90-octane will be sold for $164.05 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $156.04 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $168.38 per litre after an increase of $3.06 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $176.38 per litre also up by $3.06.
Kerosene increased by $3.06 and will be sold for $152.28 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $74.64 per litre up by $0.25 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $83.47 per litre after an increase of $0.25.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
