Reggae Youths and Bogue face off in Sandals Major League
ST JAMES, Jamaica – Former two-time champions Reggae Youths will hope to take over the lead in Zone A of the St James Football Association/Sandals Resorts International Major League today when they take on Bogue FC at the UDC Field, set to start at 3:30pm.
Reggae Youths, who have drawn their last two games, are tied on eight points with Lilliput Rovers, both winning two and drawing two games played so far with similar goal-difference of five, but Reggae Youths lead on more goals scored 10-eight.
Bogue FC are coming off their first win of the season, edging defending champions Granville United 1-0 and will hope their form will continue to hold.
On Friday, Montego Bay Boys Club held Zone B leaders Green Pond SC to a 0-0 draw at the UDC field and moved into a tie on nine points for second place with Flankers FC.
Green Pond SC who were drawing for the first time this season, however increased their lead as they moved up to 13 points from their six games.
Three more games will be played on Sunday, Lilliput Rovers and Wadada United FC will meet at Spot Valley High; Heights FC and Flankers FC will meet at Jarrett Park; while Cambridge United and Norwood Strikers face off at the UDC field.
All games are set to start at 3:30pm.
