Reno FC goes for three straight wins in JFF Championships
WESTMORELAND, Jamaica — Leaders Reno FC will be hoping to extend the league’s only perfect win record Saturday when they host third-placed Mt Pleasant FA Juniors in the second game of a Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) Championship Zone B doubleheader at Llandilo Sports Complex.
Three of the four top teams in Zone B will be playing at Llandilo today as fourth-placed Duncans United will travel to face Petersfield FC in a match-up of newcomers, in the first game set to kick off at 1:15 pm.
Reno FC won their first two games while Mt Pleasant FA Juniors won and drew the other, but both are on identical goals statistics of three scored and one conceded.
Four teams are tied on points for the lead in Zone A and Lime Hall Academy who lead on goal difference will take on third-placed Baptist Alliance SC at York Sports Complex.
Second-placed Meadforest FC will be home to Spanish Town Police at Constant Spring as the teams battle for early supremacy.
Spanish Town Police will be seeking back-to-back wins after losing their opening game and are coming off a big 4-1 win over Portlanders FC last weekend.
Grays Inn SC, the other team on four points, will be away to Progressive FC at Carder Park.
