Taste buds were ignited on Wednesday evening as Locale #ThePinkBuilding hosted a five-course dining experience called Isle Epicure, curated by Tooksie Kay Catering Principal Chef Alexa Von Strolley. In an intimate setting, guests enjoyed unique culinary twists with Jamaican flavours, paired with wines from Caribbean Producers Jamaica Limited (CPJ). From the charred sweet corn soup served in a coconut to the succulent mojo-marinated short rib and miso glazed sea bass, guests enjoyed a symphony of tastes throughout the evening.
“We like to curate and create events that celebrate creativity in every sense of the word. We decided to team up with Tooksie’s to create an event that was different, unique, and interesting; something that people could look forward to — an experience that is not found anywhere else,” shared Kerry-Ann Clarke of the Locale team.
