Dearest gentle reader, the Venetian at Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel was in regal fettle as the Sagicor Life Senators Branch hosted its annual awards ceremony on Friday, March 7. In keeping with the ‘Bridgerton Regency Era’ theme, the lords and ladies of the ton gathered to celebrate the branch’s achievements for 2024 and honour its standout performers. Financial Advisor Malaika Beckford was the season’s diamond, collecting several awards including Advisor of the Year. Beckford gratefully accepted the honour while encouraging her colleagues to continue the pursuit of excellence.
“Each of us was born with a mission and a purpose. We enjoy the view from the mountaintop, for sure, but few are willing to take the journey, and even less are willing to stay the course. Remember every setback is a set-up for greatness, and every stumbling block is a stepping stone,” Beckford said.
