World Indoors: Men claim silver in 4×400 as Jamaica end with four medals
Jamaica ended the World Athletics Indoor Championships with a silver medal in the men’s 4x400m relay, the first for the country at the competition in 10 years, at the Nanjing Cube in Nanjing China on Sunday.
The quartet of Rusheen McDonald, Jasauna Dennis, Kimar Farquharson and Demar Francis clocked 3:05.05 behind winners United States (3:03.13). Hungary won the bronze, their first ever World Indoor medal, with a national record 3:06.03.
Jamaica finished the three-day championships with four medals — two silver and two bronze — for 17th overall on the medal table and sixth on the placing table with 41 points.
