Investigation underway after man found shot dead in Ocho Rios
ST ANN, Jamaica — The police are probing the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man whose body was found in a car on the Dunn’s River main road in Ocho Rios, St Ann on Sunday, April 6.
The deceased has been identified as 47-year-old Conroy Hill, otherwise known as “Bigga”, a higgler from Roaring River, Steer Town in the parish.
According to reports from the Ocho Rios police, the discovery was made around 12:10 am when passers-by noticed the parked Toyota Voxy motor vehicle along the roadway and summoned lawmen.
Upon arrival, Hill was seen in the driver’s seat slumped over to the front passenger seat, the police said. The scene was processed and the body was later removed to the morgue.
Investigations continue.
