    Working out will help build muscle but the way to loose the man boobs is to loose weight. Boobs are mostly fat tissue so if you loose fat you loose the boobs.

    My recommendation is "Stillman's quick weight loss diet". This is a strict high protein diet that will peel the weight off faster than any other. It is not healthy long term but neither is being overweight.

    Do that along with some strength training to maintain your muscle mass and you will see results.

    any of those quick weight loss diets are really not good to recommend, not trying to be an asshole here or anything and I have studied fitness and nutrition before so I know something about it so like I siad not trying to be an asshole

    I didn't say it was healthy just quick.
    I have done it a couple of times it helps as a jumpstart.
    I agree good nutirtion and some focused exercise is the long term answer. But sometimes it helps to cheat a little. I took 70 lbs off with a high protein diet and tapered off working in some exercise as I got closer to my goal.
    It is encouraging to see some quick results when you have a long way to go. Changing your lifestyle is the real answer. It is an uphill battle to keep up the routine when life gets in the way.

    okay, glad to see you do know what you're talking about, I wasn't aware that it was a high protein diet, which is good for you, unless of course it's one of those low carb diets, but yea, it is good to see quick results, although it is even better when you got them by working your ass off legitimately, but I do agree, changing your lifestyle is an uphill battle and not everybody is willing to do it

    well in order to lose the man boobs you have to change your diet

    you have to lower your body fat percentage to almost the single digits, and if you haven't measured your body fat yet, go to a gym or something like that and get it done, it helps a lot in determining where you're starting from

    and okay..do me a favor and go through what you eat daily, and your activity and exercises if any, and don't be embarassed or anything or lie to cover up or make it look better than it is, everybody starts somewhere and just the fact that you're trying to lose weight is a step forward

    i wake up at 6:45 then i take a shower and then eat breakfast. i normaly fix eggs and some sort of meat but if i am pressed for time i will have a bowl of cereal. the kind with the dried fruit and berries in it speical K i think. then i drive to college and get there at about 8:30. then i go through my classes and what not. cause i have severl levels in my college i run up and dow the stairs about 14 - 15 times a day.for lunch i wil have whater my college is serving that day. they try to make it very healthy. start heading home at about 4:20 then i eat diner bvetween 5:30 - 6:30. i will always try to eat at home because it saves me some money. i wil normaly have some food that takes a while to cook so i can start on my homework. i rarely have soda i like water better. after diner i continue with homework till about 9:45 or 10:00 then i goto sleep so i can wake up early.

    well it sounds like you're eating pretty healthy, there used to be a great site to go for information on nutritin, fitness, and lots of related things but since closed down, otherwise I would give you a link to it

    anyway, try to find a way to add some exercise to your day, even if to start out you only do something fun like playing sports or something like that, hell college has all sorts of intermural teams so maybe you could join one of them

    eventually you should try to add some weight lifting and cardio because they will help you lose weight fastest and weight lifting will make sure that when you do lose all of the excess weight, you end up with muscle mass

    now this is going to take a long time, not overnight, atleast a year, possibly u to 3 or 4, but if you stay with a diet and fitness routine, you will be happy you did because you will be in great shape eventually and probably have a good body

    i do like to munch on some things like potato chips, popcorn, mexican food, and sometimes chips with hot sauce on them and i love to eat salsa with chips. i don't realy exercise much exept during gym class.

    well if you want to lose weight you have to change that

    if you don't already eat foods like tuna, chicken, PB, drink skim or at msot 2% milk, cottage cheese, yogurt, or any of those, then you should start, and instead of munching on things that aren't healthy for you, munch on a quick healthy snack like a PB sanwhich, fruit, salad, etc, just because you eat healthy doesn't mean it can't taste good

    oh and also, make sure you have a day every month, where you don't follow your diet and eat whatever you want, that way you'll stay on your diet every other day

    Check out "Body for Life". It has a lot of good info regarding diet. Basically, try to eat a protein and a good carb at each of five or six small daily meals. It is very difficult to do without "mixing something up in the blender". It helps if you can acquire a taste for lowfat cottage cheese. LOL

    His workout plan is not for me because you do a lot of sets at varying weights, and I workout at home. Having that many dumbbells would cost a fortune. But you should be doing some form of resistance and aerobic training. Focus on the major muscle groups: chest, back, abs, legs. Arms should be secondary. And don't do every exercise under the sun for each muscle group. When you get really comfortable with your routine after a month or two, change everything up. To lose weight, only rest for a minute between sets. And remember muscle mass increases your metabolism, so you will burn more calories even when you are just browsing in a porn forum.;)

    no, arms aren't secondary, they are just as important, workout EVERY muscle group, not just select ones, and do yourself a favor and get a gym membership, or actually, does your school have a weight room or gym or something similar?

    and trust me, those special diets are not the answer, just eat healthy and sensibly

    oh and eat 6 to 8 meals a day instead of 3 big ones

    i work out all the time. if i may, i'd like to offer my two bits:

    losing weight was never a problem for me, in fact ive been trying to gain weight because im pretty small. in my studies i have researched nutrition and weightlifting, i even had a unit on nutrition in high school. the best way to lose fat, as far as i know, is to reduce caloric intake. you need to be burning more calories than you eat. its really a bitch to have to look up nutrition information, but im sure your school will provide it and its easy to find nutrition facts online for things like eggs and produce.

    as far as man tits go, it'll probably be hard to get rid of, but you physically cannot target a certain body part and lose ther weight in just that body part. fat is burned throughout the body, and you will start to look healthier and have a better physique as soon as you get your nutrition on par and your exercise routine established.

    i would guess that you want to lose about 40-50 pounds of weight you'll need to do lots and lots of cardiovascular exercising. i hate to sound like a narrow minded ass but the best way to lose weight is JOG JOG JOG!!! it will be hard to jog more than a mile at your size, but its not a race, its just to get your heart pumping and blood flowing. another good thing to do is eliptical machines and treadmills if your college has such facilities. another way to get good cardio exercise is bicycling, but you have to really get into it and bike 10-15 miles to really get some exercise.

    i would reccomend not weightlifting until you've lost more weight, or if you do weightlift dont lift heavy, lift a minimum of 12-13 repetitions per set. if you're going to start weighlifting before you lose some of your weight, PM me and i can design a workout for you that will work out your entire body AND burn fat.

    actually, you know most college gyms or weight rooms have a trainer, maybe his does

    very good advice though, and don't forget, calories aren't as important as fat, fat is the thing that he really has to cut down on

    Actually, calories are of upmost importance. What gives fat such a bad rep is that there are almost twice as many calories in a gram of fat as there are in a gram of protein or carbs. In fact your body needs a certain amount of fat in your diet. But it needs to be good fats: olive oil, fish oil, walnuts, etc. Limit saturated fats as much as possible, though.

    Eating the wrong kind of carbs can get you in just as much trouble. For example, baking (white) potatos turn to sugar in your body faster than table sugar. And white bread goes straight to your waist. Always go for the whole grains. Because we fail to do this, diabetes will be the next major heath crisis in America.

    A good balance for your daily caloric intake is 40% carbs, 30% protein, 30% fat.
